Questions people ask before their first job
How is this different from posting on Upwork?
On Upwork you write a job post, wait for proposals, interview and then set up access yourself, and a small job often turns into a big quote along the way. Here you describe the job, see pros who can start now at a set price, and access is handled and removed for you.
What does Microployed do?
Microployed hires a vetted pro for a small job in minutes. You describe the job in Slack or an AI tool, see up to three pros who can start now with a set price, tap one, and they get access to just what the job needs until you approve the work.
How much does a small job cost?
Most small jobs cost $19 to $69, plus a 15% Microployed fee. A Meta Pixel fix starts at $59. Hourly work is billed in 15-minute steps against an estimate you approve, and you see the full price before anyone starts.
Can I hire a pro from Claude or another AI tool?
Yes. Add the Microployed connector to Claude, Cursor or Codex, with ChatGPT to follow. When the AI can't finish a task, it can request a pro with your files and attempts, and you approve the hire and access in the chat.
What does Microployed Protection cover?
Every job paid through Microployed. Your money is held until you approve the work, nothing is charged if a pro doesn't start, and work you haven't reviewed within 3 days is approved for you. If the work doesn't match the agreed scope, the pro fixes it or Microployed reviews the job and refunds part or all of what you paid for it. Refunds are capped at the amount paid for that job, and it isn't insurance.
When do pros get paid?
Every week. Once a job is approved, by the client or automatically after the 3-day review, its earnings join the next weekly payout, which goes out once you've earned $25. Pros keep everything they quote.
How fast can someone start?
You always see each pro's start time before you hire. During launch hours, weekdays 9am to 6pm Eastern, we aim to have someone working within the hour on on-demand jobs. We'll publish real times once we have them.
What's the difference between worldwide and US-based pros?
Where they live. Both pass the same paid test job and ID check and are covered by Microployed Protection. Choose US-based when a contract, a data rule or your time zone calls for it, and worldwide for the widest choice of who's free.
What access do pros get?
Only what the job needs, through each tool's own sharing: partner access for ad accounts, user roles for analytics, a collaborator account for Shopify, and file-level sharing for documents. You approve each one, and they're removed when you approve the work.
